We feel that it is very important for you to feel safe and comfortable especially on your first visit. At our office we have made every effort to make you feel at home with calming colors and a warm relaxing environment.

We will discuss with you any questions you may have regarding chiropractic, fees or insurance. We make every effort to see patients immediately as your time is important.

Dr. Shaw will then sit down and discuss with you any of your healthcare concerns or questions and go over your health history. Included in the discussion, will be what a typical day looks like for you in terms of how your posture is and what stresses are on your body. If you have any previous x-rays, MRIs, CT scans, please bring them with you at this time.

Dr. Shaw will then perform an examination to determine exactly what is happening to your spine and nervous system. During this time, she will explain her findings and always has time for your questions.

Please give yourself about an hour for this process as we try to be as thorough as possible. If you are in discomfort, Dr. Shaw will provide treatment to give you relief. It is typical for the doctor to call you after your initial treatment to see how you are doing and ask if you have any questions or concerns.

Can those with osteoporosis get chiropractic care?
Of course. When developing a care plan, we consider the unique circumstances of each patient. There are many ways we can adjust the spine. The chiropractic method we select will be best suited to your age, size and unique situation.
What can a chiropractor do for asthma?
